The brand new publication of Nejbarevnější Mexiko (The Most Colourful Mexico) is a gastronomical guide, a cookbook and encyclopaedia for all those who love colourful meals, and who are not afraid of experimenting. The book contains various authentic colourful photos from Mexico and a lot of advice on where to purchase the necessary ingredients in the Czech Republic or how to replace them.
You can look forward to its thermochromic cover which changes its colours and makes the book magical! Each traditional meat recipe has a plant-based version and plenty of tips and tricks how to make the meal lighter.
Thanks to writing the second booked titled “Nejbarevnější...” (the most colourful), a new book edition has been created revealing gradually the cuisines of the most colourful countries of the world.
My second book has been issued following the cookbook titled "Nejbarevnější kuchařka" (The Most Colourful Cookbook) that contains the recipes and stories from over eight colourful countries. However, the book Nejbarevnější Mexiko contains the recipes from a single country - its cuisine, culture and history which charmed me during my travelling across this beautiful colourful country.
Thanks to filming the documentary series (Kamu in Mexico) for Czech Television, I had the chance to travel across up to 12 Mexican states and see for myself how rich and colourful Mexico is. Especially with respect to its gastronomy, which I was most curious about. Thanks to all that, I was able to create a book which looks more like a playful and interactive textbook for adults (including the gastronomical guide).
I think that, in a way, all of us - adults - are still children who are curious and love discovering, flipping through colourful pages and learning new things. Perhaps even new plant-based recipes. Each traditional Mexican non-vegetarian recipe also contains its original vegan version.
